I think you should be able to have it so where if enough of your peers are concerned about you, they can ban you from cf for 3 days (doesn't work unless you are in the red hardcore) /cf voteban [name] [message] If you get like 5 or 10, you get a cf ban complete with all of the concerned messages of your friends. Like an intervention lol
I strongly disagree with this idea. There are tons of people that could use this addition to troll people and get them banned from CFing for no reason. Even if there was a way to avoid this, people who are addicted to minecraft gambling usually have to learn the hard way. That is, losing everything they own to coinflips.
Make it so only your /friends can cast this vote lol Personally I don't CF but I can see your concern for your peers <3 - Sydix
Hey Syn, Although I get where you are coming from, I strongly disagree with this idea and here is my opinion on why. 1) Money people get is their money to spend. If they want to cf it all away, they can do whatever they want with it and it's not anyone's fault other then the person who cfed it all away if they lose. 2) People can use this as a way to ban the player that is winning cf's. What I mean with this is that let's say you do /cf 1000 tail and I do it and win. Then you cf all your money and I win all of it. You can just vote to ban me and ask your friends or get on your alt's (if you have any) and vote to ban me so that I can't cf. Basically, this wouldn't be fair and other people would be controlling what you do. 3) It's just a game tbh. It's not real life gambling. It's a fun little plugin that MCC added that they thought would make it cool and it's not that bad of a plugin. Although there a quite a bit of issue's with cf, it's just a pixel. If you think you will lose all the time, just cf a little bit or just don't cf. Another thing I would like to say is this just takes away all the liberty of a player. I don't like this player, cf ban. This player killed me, cf ban. This player did nothing to me. cf ban. I hope you understand what I mean with this. I am not trying to be mean, this is just what I personally think.
XD Although counterpoint to 3, I see people, early season at least, lose all their stuff in CF and buy keys to have more to pour into cfs.
I do not agree with this. I’m not tying to be biased because I for one have a strong cf addiction but really the only person that can stop an addiction is the player themselves. The best thing to do as a friend is to have a deep discussion with them and tell them how worried you are. Make sure to let them know how serious you are because they might take it as a joke. You just have to be genuine with them and make sure they really listen. Gambling is a real addiction many people have and the problem shouldn’t go unnoticed but really the only thing to do is talk to them.
Hey! I know this is partly a joke. But, I don't worry that much about CF addiction because it's not real money. It's not really damaging except to your ego when you lose your whole bal. -N3UR0T0X1N
I know this thread is a bit of a joke but I think something should be done about this, I think there should be a limit to the amount of coin flips you can do in a day as I feel like it dominates in the economies such as KitPvP and Prisons. I think the limit should be 20 or 25 though.
Hello, I can definitely see where you are coming from with this. I’ve seen people in the past get drawn to coin flips, but in the end it is all their decision, the only way to learn the consequences of coin flip is… well losing. Though I am happy to see that you are caring for our fellow players!
