If we are gifted a rank by a player, can we decline getting a better rank?

While there isn't an intended design ingame for decreasing a donator rank. I'm sure that if you message an administrator explaining why you want to be brought down a donator rank, they will do it for you. In my opinion, it would be better to keep your Immortal rank - more benefits, better perks and kits; along with the mentality of knowing that as a player, you are at the apex of the ranking system. Although, we all have different views! And I hope that whatever choice you do make brings you the happiness you deserve friend! :)

I see where you are coming from with your situation, however, a free rank upgrade it immortal is AMAZING.

When you upgrade your rank you keep all of the perks you have from your previous rank but also gain more! The only thing that visually changes is the prefix before your name. I feel like it would be a bit of a waste of money to downgrade from immortal to emerald considering the amount of money that it cost for the very generous player to buy it for you.

I would just like to reiterate once again you still have access to everything you had whilst you were emerald as immortal you just have access to a lot more perks now.

I see what you mean, you wanted to stay as a certain rank but got a new rank anyways. This makes it a little hard, because you would also have to accept it if you buy ranks for yourself, which would get annoying if you increase in ranks slowly. I am not sure why you do not want a higher rank xD, I would be thrilled! But decreasing your rank would be weird, because the server would have to return you the money you spent, or it wouldn't be worth decreasing rank. I know what you're trying to say but don't think that this would work.

I can't personally say that I wasn't eager to get higher ranks, no matter what rank I had before I upgraded myself to Immortal. The nature of the gamemodes I play means that those higher ranks are always an advantage. However, I can understand why you'd feel that the rank you had gave you all the help you really needed. Plus, it's not necessarily a bad thing to start with a disadvantage, as achieving something in-game feels better the more work you put into it. If you really feel like that's the best way to experience the game, you have the option to ignore a lot of the commands that come with higher ranks (with the exception of passive things like credit multipliers of course).

 

Well i'm assuming you're a very modest person. In your point of view you may thank having a high rank is just showing off and it's just simply unnecessary. If you think about it, everyone tries to make their life easier in some sort of way. No one really wants to go in the difficult path to achieve their goals. And this relates to minecraft, personally right now I am lapis rank (thanks to a friendly user) and I am playing a lot of Prison on MCC. I notice that I gained a lot of more money faster having that rank and I am grateful for it. All you really got to do is be grateful for it and show your appreciation. I am trying to give away money on prison to show the same kindness that someone gave to me. And if your not happy about it, you should rather talk to staff than post about it here. It could come out as ungrateful and offend the other friendly user that wanted to help you. I hope you eventually get the rank you want, or learn to enjoy that rank! Super, I totally agree with you! The colors on immortal rank aren't the nicest, and there is not that many more perks on an immortal rank account than a legend rank account other than /hat (Only necessary perk is /hat) One thing that I wish you could do was TRADE ranks. So if one person had let's say immortal and the other had legend, and the immortal rank was quitting or something, that they could trade ranks. This would be a difficult thing to implement, but still sounds kinda cool! But for your post +1 it sound cool
