Hello! The best way to get money on skyblock (for beginners) is farming melons. A melon farm will easily pay for itself after the first harvest. You can keep expanding them and make more every time. They don't grow extremely fast, although if its big enough that shouldn't matter. If you want to farm melons, buy a "melon axe," which are player-made axes with efficiency 5, unbreaking 3, and either fortune 3 or fortune 5. If you need some extra cash, you can also go to a profit shop. If you have the time, and you plan to play skyblock long-term, it might be a good idea to invest in spawners. If you have a way to afk the chunks the spawners are in (with an alt online or a chunk loader), you can buy a spawner, and then let that spawner pay for another spawner (assisted by farming until farming is no longer required). Because of this, the more spawners you have, the more money you make every 24 hours, and the more spawners you can buy, meaning it is exponential. It just takes a while, so it's probably not a good idea to start a spawner farm now, since the season is rumored to be coming to an end sometime soon. Hope this helps, have a great day!
From my experience of playing sky block in the past 5 6 years has been a long experience and it depends on the prices of things that season, cacti farms and cows are usually the most useful to make money. but also nether warts, those make decent money but it takes effort!
I agree with you that cows and cactus farms are make a lot of money, however this season nether wart farms just aren't that good and don't make that much money unless you want to camp out for hours (as they grow really fast which is why they got nerfed). you should probably go with a melon farm, its much more effective with getting money
Heya! Its also good to farm vines, this gives you island points and tokens, just as cocoa beans give you money and tokens its just a pain to replant. but i suggest those together with melons! ( break the vines with axe it goes quicker)
My suggestion is that you start out farming melons, then coco beans and vines, then implement a skelly spawner. Using a profit shop might also be a good idea if you are a new player.
