Hi all, On Sb2 i have 93 skelly spawners, yet i make little bones. I recently got 48 bones from 158 skellys. How many bones should i get per skelly, and how can i get the maximum amount of bones? Thanks everyon!
Hello! In season 9 (this season) of skyblock, skeleton spawners make about 19-25k per spawner per 24 hours. The number varies because, if you have more skelly spawners, when it clears ground items more skeletons get removed. With 93 spawners, you should be making about 1.767mil to 2.325mil per 24 hours of afk. It's important that the chunks are loaded, otherwise your spawners will not make any bones at all. On skyblock, regarding spawners, players will load 1 chunk in each direction plus the chunk they're standing in. This makes a 3x3 area of loaded chunks, with the center one where the player is. If you're using chunk loaders, check that they're not in obsidian, because for some reason they don't work when they're in obsidian. In conclusion, you should be making about 24-31 stacks of bones per 24 hours of afk per spawner. If you're not making this, something is wrong - maybe the chunks are not being loaded or bones are being lost and not going into the hopper. Hope this helps, have a great day!
if im using chunkloaders(which im not) does it still load a 3x3 area with the chunkloader in the middle, or does it only load one chunk?
No, a chunk loader will only load the chunk that it is placed in, however it allows you to have the chunk loaded while being offline. They are very expensive for that reason.
Hey 27JAS, Skeletons have a droprate of 25% chance for 1 bone. So with 100 skeleton entities, you'd expect to get roughly 25 bones. So from the 158 skeletons you dropped, you should've expected to get 40 bones; you got 48; which is above average. So yeah, everything is working as expected.
