Currently the ban length for severity 2 rules is too short to have an impact on teaming in the UHC gamemode. Players at most miss 1 or 2 games and can then continue breaking this rule with basically no consequence. The punishment length should be increased to encourage more players to take the time to report them as the mods usually don't want to ban their friends as well as discourage people to do it as they would have to wait weeks or months to play rather than only a day or two.

    Hello there!
I do agree with you that the teaming bans are a little too short. Although a teaming ban is a severity 2 gameplay offence, if they would make teaming a severity 3 gameplay offence it would be too long in my opinion. Since I think severity 2 does fit a little better for a teaming offence I don't think this should become a severity 3 offence since they start with 7 days for the first time. So I'd say keep it as a severity 2 offence.
    Best regards,
    Mats :)

I see where you're coming from, but in UHC you compete for money. I think it should be a Severity 3.

Even if it is a competition for a Buycraft giftcard, the teamers don’t make it that far anyways. Plus, the more they do it, the longer the punishment will be. I think severity 2 first offense is the perfect length for teamers. It’s enough time for those players to learn a lesson, and they mostly likely won’t repeat this action in the future. If they do, they’ll be gone for longer.

I don't think you play UHC that often, its pretty bad. People are in big group calls crossteaming even in deathmatch. Also if a crossteamer gets banned once it usually repeats it self because the ban is so short that they just play on an alt account while waiting out the ban as Alpha was saying.

If i get back to your post Alpha, I think there should be seperate rule section for UHC on crossteaming. Where the rules should be more clear.
Here is what the current crossteaming rules are for the server:
    Rule:
    Teaming / Cross Teaming

Teaming with another player or players in solo mode.
    OR
Teaming with a player who belongs to another team in team mode.

    Punishable in these Minigames:

    - (Team) Skywars

    - Team CakeWars

    - Ultra Hardcore

    - Capture the Flag (see special description *)

    Example:

User1 joins up with User2 in a solo game and stays with them until deathmatch.

    * Capture the Flag:

Punishable on CTF only if a user is holding the other team's flag in order to prevent their own team from winning.

    Severity and notes:
    Severity 2

Teaming is allowed if there are only 2 players left (no more than that) in the game, as it doesn’t affect the gameplay at that point.

As you can see it says nothing about trucing/ignoring other players etc. I think it needs to be more detailed because UHC crossteaming is something different from minigames crossteaming. I also think they should have different severities for different types of crossteaming.
    Example (severity 2):
Player1 gives player2 his stuff so he can beat player3 in order to with the game.

    Example (severity 3):
    Player1 and player2 teams up and 2v1's player3.

Let me know what you think.

Seen as UHC has a money reward I think that the punishments given out during them should be the harshest anywhere in the server. People can change the outcome of a match by simply trading items. Along with UHC's once a day playtime means that the chances of winning against teamers who know how to play decrease dramatically. I personally agree with the others here that have mentioned to enforce a severity 3 gameplay offence!
    Just my two cents:)

If this is to be added, then all punishment lengths should be the same. Teaming is teaming, regardless of the circumstances. Though I can agree, the punishment lengths for teaming/cross-teaming should be increased. The most they're ever going to get banned for is a few days, and that's only after they've broken this rule 4+ times. First time is 6 and second is 12, they wouldn't even miss a single UHC at that point. They could team in 3 in a row before they even missed one.

Truthfully, if players team they should get a temp ban for 14 days, as it just makes the game unfair if people team and refuse too kill each other over and over, this then waste time for the people who are wanting to carry on. Yes they can leave but if you're in a party and get dragged into another game and they start teaming then it puts you in that list.

That seems a bit excessive for a first-time offence, that would probably be best for a 5th offence. So something like this
    1st Offence: 12 hour ban
    2nd Offence: 1 day ban
    3rd Offence: 3 fay ban
    4th Offence: 7 day ban
    5th Offence: 14 day ban

I agree with this 100% if you cross team in a UHC it should be a severity 3. The punishment is not long enough for those people who cross team in UHC. it should be a temp ban of at least 15 days.. Uhc only happens once a day and i know a lot of people look forward to the uhc and when people cross team its really a unfair advantage.

A severity 3 first ban is 30 days which seems way too excessive for teaming. I understand how it can be frustrating at how quick these ban times are, especially for those who can then play in the next game of UHC without being affected too much. However, they can't keep teaming all the time as the bans become longer. Some suggestions were made about temp bans or increasing ban times overall. I don't disagree with this idea.

A severity 3 gameplay offence first ban is 7 days, not 30 days. It's still long though in my opinion for an offence like teaming.

Honestly I agree with a 30 day ban for teaming in UHC. Its extremely annoying to play out 45 minutes of a UHC game just to lose to a couple of people teaming and messing around. 30 day ban for anyone found crossteaming is pretty fair. Harsher punishment means less will risk the ban

I honestly think the cross-teaming rule should stay as it is currently. Increasing it to a 30 day ban would be chaotic, people typically learn there lesson after the first ban for cross-teaming. There typically isn't a lot and I think they should keep it the same.

    Hiya!

I'm not a huge UHC player, however I think if this were to be added, if would have to be applied to other minigames that don't allowed cross teaming to make it look more clean and in order. Cross teaming is a such a popular thing to do, especially of recently (Minigames & UHC) however I think if you get your 5th Sev 3 Gameplay ban which leds up to a perm ban, I think would be much for a perm ban. Another thing I would like to add is that it would confuse more players because of the history and they can just easily get confused and overall would be a bad idea to raise the severity up for UHC. I just can't see this being added.

The point is that people already know its not allowed and still do it anyway, they arent learning anything.

No, it would not have to be applied to other minigames. This doesnt really make a lot of sense, there is no reason why a rule on UHC applies to other games that are vastly different like CTF. Also, i doubt it would confuse anyone, as its the same rule, just harsher punishments lol?

I do agree with you because there is a big reward to this. Although, I think the staff dies as best as they can to solve this issues, especially later game. I see people get tossed all the time for cross teaming. But, it shouldn’t happen. Just record anyone who does it early game, but late game it shouldn’t be a problem. Have a wonderful day!
