Infinite Alts??

    So what I'm about to say is something I've been wondering for a while that I see often on this server.

    Whenever I see a hacker get banned, I see another one join about 5 minutes later. I saw this happen about 30 times up to the point where the last guy said "Jesus, do you guys know how to IP ban?" and that's when I realized this had been the same person with the same 30 accounts. How the hell does this guy have access to so many accounts? I doubt he blew about $800 making all those accounts. It's just insane how people go to such depths just to hack on this server without giving up or getting bored, and I've never seen the fun in it.

    He was likely using "public alts." It's where you go to a website that offers login information for minecraft accounts for cheap if not free, and usually these accounts have been stolen from their owners in phishing scams (like the free minecon capes, for example). He may have evaded an IP-ban by changing his ip and logging into a completely new alt (I don't know for sure, although the server would probably see that as a new user who is not IP-banned). It really is incredible how some people are just determined to incessantly ruin the game for others.

    You already know #MCConTOP since hackers try their hardest to hack on this server :weary:

    I remember one time when I use to grind TSW hard that this one hacker would stalk me and alt hop and evade IP-Bans just to kill me which was so sweet.. I enjoy my hacking fans :tonguewink:

    Yeah well, that dude is most likely a random kid who thinks he's slick by hacking on random accounts, ip banning wouldn't even solve the issue as so many VPNS bypass the anti vpn on the server lol. Also, you can buy 200 mc accounts for just 20 dollars (the price of one mojang would sell).

    It's SUPER easy to just hop on another alt and start using that. You can pay like 3 dollars and get 25 public alts, so hackers can have an almost unlimited supply of alts if they have the money and desire to. Staff regularly do random checks on bans to look for repeat IPs, but sometimes they just get missed. My philosophy is that if I just keep reporting them, eventually the hackers will get sick and tired of having their alts banned on MCC so they'll just give up and go to another server with shitty anti-cheat.
