Undeserved Ban

    Hello, my name is Alice and my ign is tigeralice. I have been a member of McCentral since january time, as my girlfriend and I found it so we can play together when we are away from eachother.
    Last night, I was on prison, mining to level up to the next rank (X). A SrMod, Kane, banned me for ‘Auto-Mining’. Before this happened, I had no clue what that was. I then appealed and explained that I didn’t, and that all I was doing was mining. The only thing I can say is that I mine in a quick way?? As in I move my mouse around to get as many blocks in, but that’s all I do. I don’t even know how to download anything dodgey, why would I risk that? On a server I love, that I play on with my girlfriend? My girlfriend is being the best and is trying to get support for me on discord and on McCentral, and many have said that Auto-Mining isn’t officially detectable. The mod can only guess that said person is auto-mining. So he banned me, because that’s what he believed I was doing. I think I’d be less upset if the ban were to be a week, but no, it’s a month. And when I appealed, he denied it straight away and said that I was ‘clearly’ doing it. I’m so upset, because I’d never risk my place on McCentral. I have a high rank. I spend hours on it. I would never do anything out of order, and I’m sorry if it seemed that I did, but I did not. Please may a mod or anything close give me support or a way to sort this out. I feel so distraught.

    All I have EVER done on this server is try to be nice. I’ve always just wanted to make friends and that’s what i’ve done, especially on Survival. I have lots of friends on there. Everybody is so lovely and I feel so welcome so the fact this has happened and I didn’t do anything wrong is so frustrating and has made me feel so helpless. I’m sorry

    If I were to have ACTUALLY done anything wrong and I got banned I would’ve just taken the L right now, but I didn’t. It’s not right:(

    I have seen Alice on the server and I know for a fact she would never automine or hack. This was clearly a false ban and needs to be removed.

    Ask the mod to spec you.. if you have a dodgy client on ur pc it will come up in the search if you don't then they'll probably unban you. Just a thought

    Hey Alice, I'm really sorry that this happened to you. Auto-Mining is a complicated modification to punish for, so it's possible that it could have been a false punishment. Nevertheless, you need to be discussing it with Kane as he is the only person who will be able to revoke this ban for you - posting this on the forums will not improve your case, unfortunately.

    Staff members are not able to screen share users after a ban has been issued as the user has disconnected from the server and there is hence no way to tell if they were cheating at the time that they were playing MC-Central.

    Hey!

    You were clearly using automine. Staff members who voted for the video agreed that it was automine. Kindly await until your punishment expires. Creating threads will not help you in any way.
