Hello! It has come accross my attention that players are now showing other players public information, and ip grabbing through mc-central. In order to protect my self, I've went ahead and grabbed my self a VPN! However the server doesn't allow VPNS? This is actually outrageous. Me and my Friends are getting booted off everytime we PvP on Prison 1! We know who does them but they are always on ALTS and We have no "Real" evidence of them actually hitting us off, bc how do we even get evidence? Anyway I can protect my self? This is very unsafe, and i would not like to get swatted/ddossed/doxed! Please take this matter serious bc me and my friends are debating on whether to quit this server or not. This isnt even a game anymore. We are scared that we will get swatted by these immature players, who like to hit and dox people offline over a block game. Please reply to me ASAP as this is actually OUT OF HAND!
Hey there, So I was curious about this and decided to ask someone with more knowledge than me and from my understanding if the players already have your original IP (the one your router uses) there is no purpose for using a VPN because they'll still be able to boot you off. I believe it is best for you to contact your internet service provider and ask to change your IP, then use a vpn and ask an admin or senior for help. Hope this is helpful.
Zlain, I can get on the server with a VPN! That was what I was planning on doing! When i join the server i get kicked and the error msg saying "You seem to be using a VPN or a Proxy".
Since they already have your ip a vpn is no help. Your best bet is getting your ip changed then do not click fishy links/ join sketchy servers. Locked
