    Hello!

Were do I begin, So the anti cheat has been an issue for a long while, I think it was like a year or so ago that it got stuffed up and made it easier to not get kicked for fly hackers or something which seems to be the key issue.

Now when you say "Mods need to do a better job." I think you mean the person / people who make the Anti Cheat. Now I don't wanna be looked as a "Staff Suck Up" as such but, c'mon give the Staff Team some credit. Owners are making changes to sub servers 6 monthly, factions every other month and also adding little stuff like the New Duels maps that have been added the other day. Staff ban hackers, help players, go in support as well as settle down arguments and really they are doing nothing wrong as some stuff they can not control.

Now reading through thread this seems to be the big issue.

Now as for your point which is "Server hasn't changed in ages." this is only the mini game aspect like I have said before and the mini games clearly don't seem to be the biggest thing on MCCentral however that doesn't give an excuse not to update it but its not earning money and what not. Basically what I am saying is It would be better for mini games to never update, then sub servers.

Now there seems to be a lot of talk about a supposed mini game revamp and amazing AC or something coming this June and I hope this is true but there can't be much evidence but.

What else could you add to minigames?

    New Maps? Sure
    Maybe New Kits? Yeah Maybe

But it doesn't have an economy that sorting or flaws that need fixing apart from a few minor changes and what not.

The only thing I am personal disappointed about is no new maps since 2017 because they can get repetitive but thats all. Oh and the Anti cheat of course.

Oh But can I just say one thing.

Your Only Point to this post can't be "Hypixel does it better."

Believe it or not, this isn't hypixel, we aren't a huge mini game server, we don't need to be and Hypixel has tens of thousands of players 24/7 whilst we have.. a couple thousand?

If something didn't make sense I apologise but I can't be bothered to proof read.

    Have a Nice Day

That was exactly my point when I say nothing has changed for ages. They still just keep pushing out new updates on sub-servers while completely ignoring minigames. I mean it's understandable to some point as the subservers are the money makers, but seriously? It's been literally years since there was a revamp for minigames, and during that last revamp they failed to add a lot of borderline necessary features. Joining ongoing games is one good example. It might just be my personal opinion, but I believe an AntiCheat across all minigames should have a higher priority than "/repair discounts", and "/fly auto-toggling". And that's just a few examples from the latest changelog, I could spend weeks cherry picking additions from all the changelogs from the past few years.

Personally, I would argue that minigames used to be an extremely large portion of the playerbase. But, due to all the mistakes made by the owners and the lack of attention, it has now become one of the least popular things on the server. All the players across all minigames combined would probably equate to the number of players on factions during peak hours. So I guess you could say you are right that it's not the biggest thing on the server, but like I said, it used to be pretty darn close, if not THE biggest thing on the server.

From what I heard, it was a SOTM leaking an admin call. Though that hasn't been completely proven either, so I'm just hoping for change I guess.

I might just sound arrogant, but I kind of agree with the point that Hypixel does it better. Not just because they do minigames the best, to be honest I'm not that fond of their games for various reasons. I'm speaking more in the technical aspect. They have a dedicated developer team that keeps up with the development of the server and are constantly making changes to everything. This is for the most part the only major problem I have with MCCentral as this links down into every other major problem the server has (Aside from some "questionable" staff behavior). When you have 2 people trying to manage an entire network of thousands of players, things are going to go downhill fast.

They disbanded their dev team because they were leaking stuff, but in all honesty they could have handled that better. There are numerous, legitimate legal actions they could have taken to ensure nothing is leaked or, probably the best alternative, hire a reputable external Development team just as they do with a Build Team. I'm pretty sure alex makes bank off this server, the least he could do is put some money back into it's development.

I don't think you read any of the replies, because most of these issues have already been touched on multiple times. Getting punished is almost always your fault. The context is generally irrelevant, because there isn't much of an excuse for breaking the rules; if you don't want to be punished, don't break the rules. Do staff make mistakes? Definitely, they're only human volunteers who work hard to help the server. If you are ever false punished, appeal and (politely) explain the situation. Provide evidence if you have any. Chances are, your appeal will be accepted and things will go back to normal.

There will always be hackers. Not even Hypixel is immune to this. The solution is obviously to get a working anticheat and have staff who can be active across timezones, but the reality is MCC has a broken anticheat and very few EU/AU staff. A new anticheat will be rolled out alongside the minigame revamp over the summer, but it's our job to report hackers until that happens. Again, the staff team can only do so much.

The very simple solution? Don't break the rules, and report people who do. This will save tons of time and drama on all sides.

The staff team has been expanding this past year, but the lack of updates to mini games and a mediocre anti-cheat have ruined the experience for a lot of players including myself. Hopefully this "new" anti-cheat they've been working on is actually effective.

I'm guessing you haven't yet seen how bad things really are on here :joy:

I've been here since the release of this server, and it extremely annoys me to see how they've ruined minigames, because that's the part of the server I'm most attached to. Doesn't matter who you are or where you come from, their ignorance towards minigames is unacceptable.
