People should be able to fly in the overworld, i do not see why it got removed in the first place. Flying in overworld is not a bad thing, it gives no disadvantages to rookies. What made fly a good thing is that we can travel faster in overworld, and I do not see a reason on why it got removed.
hey! i understand that not being able to fly is frustrating, but i think that it is a good thing because it makes the server less pay to win. with that being said however, i know that several people bought ranks just to be able to fly in the overworld, so i completely understand where you're coming from. however, i also think that not being able to fly in the overworld is a good thing because it increases the difficulty of the survival subsever and makes it seem more like vanilla minecraft. i used to play survival a lot, and i know that it was incredibly easy to obtain materials if you had /fly, so i guess removing it kinda balances it out. -1. have a good day.
Hello! I agree with Marbella on this one. The reason flying was removed was to make survival more vanilla and make it more challenging for players to find rare biomes and etc. There's always the option of getting an Elytra in order to get places faster but I don't see this being changed for the time being. It looks like the direction survival is heading now is towards a more vanilla fashion vs. the previous seasons where for example we had /fly in the wilderness and as far as I remember the kits had more perks too. I'm personally enjoying the direction survival is heading however I completely understand if you don't feel the same way. There's plenty of other ways to have fun on survival that don't include flying around in the wilderness. I suggest getting an Elytra and using /sethome so you're able to utilize getting places in different ways!
