I know Hide and Seek used to be a mini game on MCC (a long time ago lol) but I think that it should make a reappearance! I've talked to quite a few players, and they all agreed that they would love to see it come back as a mini game. For those who are not familiar with the game, players would be disguised as a certain block and the seeker would have to figure out what blocks are disguised as players, just like the traditional game of hide/seek. Additionally, I know a bunch of players who haven't played MCC in years are coming back on (including myself) due to the current situation where most of us are stuck inside and I think bringing back some of the old mini games with new features/enhancements would definitely be beneficial :) Let me know if you'd like to see its reappearance, or if this is a possibility. Thanks!

hiHi as much as i think this would be an amazing idea, i feel that it can backfire real quick and be really inactive. If you stop and think for a second, it must have been removed for a reason, so why make the effort to bring it back and then it becomes how it was before the removed it in a week. mcc already has their fair share of inactive games like champion builders and speedywalls, and occasionally cakewars, and they’ve also had their fair share of minigames that were removed like OTIC, splegg, and tnt run (or whichever it was). towards the end of that game, they were all p inactive and thus removed.
overall, i am -1 on this idea, i don’t think it’d work out well and it wouldn’t be that active after, maybe, a month after it’s released
    have a great day

As someone who played back then, I can tell you it was a lot of fun - but it had it's issues. There was game breaking glitches on every single map and it made it impossible for a seeker to win. I assume that it was removed because the time it would take to fix the glitches wouldn't be worth how long the minigame would last. Realistically hide and seek can get boring after a month or two.

Check out this video I made in 2013 and you'll see what I mean -

Yeah, i completely understand what you're saying. I would love to see it return as i remember how fun it was, but unfortunately i do also remember all the bugs that accompanied it. I'm hoping that if it was brought back to MCC, that these issues could be improved upon as i believe that the game originally lost popularity due to the issues associated with it. However, I totally see what you're saying and I appreciate your feedback!

    Howdy Napping,
So, I definitely agree to add hide and seek back.
It could bring more players back that would be interesting in a new type hide and seek game,
what I would also want to see if this gamemode comes back would be an actual hide and seek game where you hide, there would be no props to hide as, it would just be hiding places for your Minecraft character to hide. overall I find it boring on some days when I'm just not feeling ctf or skywars and I just want something to chill on, I would love to see a hide and seek gamemode implemented again back into the mccentral community. Hope my thread was useful in some way!
    Bye bye

    Hi!
I totally agree and I think you have some really good ideas that I would love to see added if hide and seek makes a reappearance! I also think it does have the potential to bring players back as you said because of the current situation where most of us are stuck inside. That being said, I know a bunch of players who haven't played MCC in years are coming back on (including myself) and I think bringing back some of the old mini games with new features/enhancements would definitely be beneficial :) Anyways, thanks for feedback/support!

Omg yes, I love the idea of bringing back hide and seek seeing as it seems to be very active and popular on other servers so adding it to MCC would bring more people into the community which is always great to make new friends.

I personally know a lot of people that would want this mini game back since it used to be an old favourite. To make make the hide and seek a bit different to the other severs there can be a maximum of 17 players which includes, 13 hiders and 4 seekers the hiders can't kill the seekers and once you get found its the end of the game for you, which means you don't become a seeker so the 4 seekers that were chosen at the start stay the only seekers of the game.

    +1

This sounds like a great idea, thanks for sharing! I hope that if hide & seek makes a reappearance that these ideas will be considered :)
