Its probably not called aquarium to keep from copy right issues from another server, however, thats not something i would really know about and im not even sure if most mods would since it seems to be something the creator of said map would know better.
I'm not sure why this would be a copyright issue. If so, what server "owns" the map, and who would file a copyright infringement on a Minecraft map? I'm pretty sure the map is owned by the person who made it, and if it's in the roster of maps then it was submitted by the creator.
If you've looked at youtube at least once within the last 5 years you'd know people can get away with some pretty crazy shit when copyrighting but yeah, it's probably not a copyright issue. GummyBearNick was probably just trying to be "original". Aquarium is pretty generic for a map name, probably at least a hundred out there with that name already. EDIT: Also just checked and there is already a Skywars map named aquarium. They could have just done this to avoid confusion when listing maps.
G’day! Without any disrespect, I totally disagree with this as MCCentral has a unique name for a few maps of different mini games and since that’s so, it makes the names stand out much more from other servers. Aquarium would honestly sound too simple. Have a good day/night! Xottiicc
I believe that the MM map fish zoo could have been named that to avoid confusion with the Skywars map Aquarium. On a second note, they probably wanted a more exciting name so that it stands out more. Thanks, Olli
