New Minigame Idea?

A new minigame would add some flare to the server. However, I believe you should add more detail into your idea of this minigame. For example, you should more than likely give it a name and add more reasoning to the point system of the game. I believe a good idea for the minigame is to add levels, so the higher the level you start getting the more difficult the mobs will become. I also believe this should be a team minigame, as I do not see the point in making it solo.

I really like this idea because I think they should get rid of Speedy Walls, Cake Wars and Champion builder because they are all dead and no one plays them and they should add some new minigames like a paintball minigame because I have played that on other servers and its one of my favourite and I also think they should add One In The Chamber because that was a fun minigame. Your idea sounds like a fun minigame and I hope that they someday add a minigame like that. Have a great day!

 

hey! I like your idea, but I think that several of the pre-existing mini games are quite dead already, and nobody would play this one either. However, there's a game on Kit PvP called mob madness which is kind of similar to what you suggested, except it only happens every few hours & you can win an event key. Do. /mm on Kit to check when the next game is.

 

To be completely honest, I feel as though the time it would take to plan, develop, implement, and debug a new minigame could be much better used to fix and improve the current and popular minigames on the server. Rather than gamble on the addition of a new game, certain things like map updates, anti-cheat improvements, and minigame perk additions would be MUCH more favourable in my opinion.

There is a problem here. MCC is a 1.8-1.12.2 server. Pillagers came in 1.14 and not all players use 1.13+

 

This sounds like you took three different Hypixel games and smashed them together. Honestly, I feel MCC should step away from adding new features and gamemodes at the moment and focus more on fixing what we already have. The minigames are in dire need of a revamp, and the server could use some housekeeping and bug fixes. Even if a new game is to be added, building on an existing idea is not going to bring any new traffic to the server; just look at Cakewars.

TL;DR We have more important things to focus on, and this sounds like three Hypixel minigames combined. -1

 

It's actually more than three. It's closer to 10. Can't remember all the names tho. The ones I know are Bed Wars, The Bridge, The Pit, and Capture The Wool.

And fixing some key features are more important than adding ten games from Hypixel (I remember four out of ten) and making a minigame out of them.
